These terms cover your use of eatumbo.com, run by Umbo Traverse City, LLC, doing business as Umbo. By using the site, you agree to them.
Our menu moves with the seasons and the catch, so what’s here may not match what’s on the bar tonight. Hours, prices, and availability can change without notice. If this site and the restaurant disagree, the restaurant is right.
How to reserve, party sizes, and seating are on our Visit page. A reservation isn’t set until we confirm it. If you book through an outside service, that service’s terms apply too.
Private events, buyouts, and catering are arranged directly with us. Our Events page is a starting point, and the details we agree on with you in writing are what count.
Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
Please tell us about any allergies before you order. Our kitchen handles fish and shellfish, and we can’t promise any dish is free of an allergen. You must be 21 to buy alcohol, and we may ask for ID.
The words, logos, photos, and design on this site belong to Umbo or to the people who made them, including the photographers credited on these pages. Please ask before reusing them. Sharing a link is always fine.
Please don’t use this site for anything unlawful, or try to disrupt it or the services behind it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including mailing list signups.
We link to other sites, like Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, and the press who have written about us. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what’s on them.

Michigan law governs these terms. Any dispute about them belongs in the state courts in Grand Traverse County, Michigan.
